What data is and is not collected

What the app does not do

Japanese Study App does not collect personal information, does not create a developer account for you, and does not send your study history to a developer-controlled backend.

What may be stored on your behalf

The app may store things like study progress, settings, and list organization locally on your device so the app can remember your progress and preferences.

iCloud sync

If the app uses iCloud sync, that syncing happens through Apple’s CloudKit and your own iCloud account. The developer does not get a private dashboard of your study data from that process.

Third-party services

The app may rely on Apple platform services needed for normal operation, but it does not include third-party ad networks or analytics tracking.

A simple commitment

This app is meant to help you study Japanese, not profile you. If that ever changes, this page should change too, clearly and plainly.
